CAP 1-day Seminar (January 20, 2007)

The ISSA Baltimore Chapter held its first Certification & Accreditation Professional (CAP) education seminar at the end of 2005, which was a big success largely due to the great value offered exclusively to the chapter through our Affiliate Local Interest Group (ALIG) agreement with (ISC)2.

It is with great pleasure that we announce our second CAP education seminar on Saturday, January 20, 2007 – and the benefits are even better!

The Certification & Accreditation (C&A) Professional (CAP) is a relatively new certification that is of interest to many of us working in the Federal space and others as well. In the past few months, I have surveyed work colleagues and those attending chapter meetings and many hands were raised when I asked who would be interested in taking this training.

This seminar will:

  • Provide valuable information on Certification and Accreditation based on NIST SP 800-37.
  • Assist in your preparation to take the ISC2 Certification and Accreditation Professional Exam.

DATE/TIME

  • Saturday, January 20, 2007
  • 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.

VENUE

    OTHER CONSIDERATIONS:

If you're studying for ISSEP, this is your chance to secure knowledge on one-of-four domains.

If you're working proposals and want to show competencies in C&A, this is a good idea for your team.
