DNS Security

This presentation provides an overview of several DNS security threats.  There will be a discussion of a 10-step process which DNS administrators can follow to help reduce DNS security threats.  The presentation will end with a brief discussion on tools and technologies which can help to enact part of the 10-step process to securing DNS services.

Don Smith, Senior Global System Engineer, Infoblox

Don Smith is a Senior Global System Engineer for Infoblox focusing on the large multi-national accounts.  He provides field, product and market expertise for the IP Address Management market space.  Don also worked for Lucent Technologies for over seven years and was a VitalQIP® Product Manager focusing on government and enterprise requirements in the US as well as all EMEA and APAC requirements.  Don has an M.B.A. from the University of Phoenix and a B.S. in Computer Information Systems.
